This depends on your preferences, as both uPVC and timber doors have their benefits. uPVC doors are highly versatile, reliable and cost-effective and deliver incredible performance levels. Timber doors tend to be longer-lasting and marginally better at retaining household heat, however they’re usually more expensive than uPVC. We understand entirely why some people prefer wood, but we prefer uPVC.

We do aluminium doors as well as uPVC and they’re another excellent choice. Aluminium doors are just as versatile as their uPVC counterparts but are even stronger and more durable. Our uPVC doors last decades, but our aluminium doors have even longer lifespans. They tend to be more expensive than uPVC, but if you choose an aluminium door, it could be over forty years before you even need to think about replacing it. 

Yes, you certainly can. We don’t work with timber doors ourselves, but we recognise that wood has a certain homespun charm that is very appealing. If you’d like a uPVC door that replicates the look and feel of traditional wooden doors, we have several options available.
